What is MariTrak?

MariTrak is a suite of integrated web applications for the maritime shipping industry, which solve the problem of information and message dissemination between the various business partners involved in Voyage Charters. These collaborative parties may include, but are not limited to, vessel owners, charter parties, ship brokers, port agents, and cargo inspectors.  MariTrak functions as a corporate intranet, or as an 'extranet'; a private network or intranet which allows collaboration with external partners, via web services.

MariTrak is also a complete self-contained starter website which can be customized to fit your organization's needs. It features a simple Content Management System (CMS) with workflow, allowing designated content creators to add and maintain site content. In this capacity, Maritrak can either function as an extension of your existing website, or completely replace it!  Our award winning graphic designers can customize the look and feel of the site to fit your needs. Multiple layouts, or "skins" can be applied on-the-fly to allow your users to change the look and feel of your site, without affecting the site functionality itself.

What does MariTrak track and report on?

MariTrak contains modules to track and report on data for contacts (partners), vessels, vessel scheduling, crew manifests, voyages,  port calls, terminals, berths, cargos, laytime logs, vessel performance, and suspensions of passage.  Certain modules require a sister Windows application installed on the vessel, which transmits the data to shore via satellite communications during the master's noon day reporting cycle.
